Set of 21 Functional Documents Genre Strips

Genre Strips provide 10-12 higher order questions in a fluorescent, laminated “bookmark” format with questions printed on both sides. They are designed to help students and teachers understand and appreciate particular genres. Genre Strips, like Question Rings, complement any reading series and can be used with students in grades K-12.

Genre Strips are helpful in independent reading, literature circles and other small group formats, and as planning tools for teachers for whole group instruction. They are valuable parent engagement tools, helping parents to read productively with their children.

Each Genre Strip measures 2.5 inches wide by 8.5 inches long.
