Chesapeake CES, a not-for-profit organization located in North East, MD, serves as an affiliate center within the Coalition of Essential Schools national network. We have been bringing the power of the CES Ten Common Principles to the mid-Atlantic region since June 2002. Our mission is to support schools and the people and communities touched by them in shaping respectful, rigorous, and responsive places of learning.
